Proof of Yetis (Video)

Men of science and wonder have been searching for the elusive Yetis for hundreds of years, but the best they could come up with was some dodgy footage of a man with hairy arms walking through the woods…

Here, for the first time ever, is conclusive, unarguable evidence that yes… Yetis are real, they’re among us… and they’re breeding.

I took this amazing footage on the slopes of The Steeple, a mountain in Lochgoilhead, in the Western Highlands of Scotland.

Strangely, the local folk didn't talk at all about their Yeti issue - but I expect that's the same sort of insular defence system that the people of Yorkshire fall back on to hide their werewolf problem.

A Baby Yeti - Staring at me...
Yetis... everywhere...

  1. The baby Yeti is really cute.

Thanks for exposing the myth. Les. The one thing that still puzzles me though is how the adult Yeti sees with such long bangs? Is there a special Yeti barber who gives them a trim once in a while?

  2. I don't think they can see, Eden. I reckon that's the reason why it totally blanked me when I was trying to strike up civilised conversation. One would hope that it wasn't an act of complete ignorance by the Yeti! xoxox

  3. I think the Yeti was a bit offended because you said "whatever." He may not have known you were trying to have a serious conversation...or perhaps it was your accent he couldn't understand.

  4. Yes, they do have very strange accents, Yetis, so it could be a real possibility that it couldn't understand mine!

  5. Lol I just love that "appears to be eating itself" I got 3 local yeti's along my running route, best photographed on a hot day they head down to the river which I run along!

  6. You be careful, Miss! They're not to be trusted! They'll probably try to lick YOUR nose, too!

  9. Do yeti's eat grass or people? :-)

  10. It depends how hungry they are - so you should be careful when approaching them. Fortunately, this one had a bowl of conflakes under its arm, so it didn't leap on me.

  11. Loved the video! The Yeti seemed singularly unimpressed with you, and with being filmed.

I'll have to show this to my husband. He thinks he's a Yeti ;~)

  13. Last time I took my kids round to my friends house, her middle son (aged 6) was overheard saying to my eldest son (aged 3) "Did you know that your dad is actually a Yeti? He just shaves all his fur off every day!"
    Vivid imagination, that boy.

    1. What if the boy's right? I think you should hide the razor's in your house, and see what happens. You never know. ;)

  15. Wow, your yeti was far more benign than the ones on Monster Quest. It hadn't been dipping into the single malt, had it?

  16. You are a nut, Les. I love it. Thank you for making my day yet again!

  17. I knew it! I knew it!

    You all laughed at me!

    Who's laughing now, dad!?

  18. LOL. That's some crazy lookin' steer as we call them in the US. I am a Bigfoot fan too BTW .. the US version of Yeti .. looks like you had fun :)

  19. Congratulations on your success! I agree w/Ms. Baylee. the Yeti couldn't see you b/c her (I am guessing it's a she-Yeti) bangs were far too long.

And I also agree w/the other poster~Ms. Phinney. Most likely the Yeti did get into the single malt, but you would too if you were a female Yeti w/bad hair & closest stylist a thousand miles away. Poor Yeti. Depressed & having bad hair day.
