This is my favourite Lesism Blog so far and the description of school sports brought it all flooding back in minute and horrific detail.@nevillespiersnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3169917392605496319.post-41864766876198861442012-08-14T13:49:33.798+01:002012-08-14T13:49:33.798+01:00This made me laugh so much! :D THANK YOU! However...maybe the problems would be solved by other people doing the competitive sport being the lardist and all ;)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3169917392605496319.post-54961599295748511432012-08-14T09:48:54.169+01:002012-08-14T09:48:54.169+01:00I couldn't agree more Les! The extravagance (given the economic state of our poor nation,) the politicians vying for attention, with their “this is all down to me” attitude, and as for the blooming torch really, well, I just couldn’t see the point.

But then something changed. The opening ceremony came along. It inspired. It made us feel patriotic. But more than anything, it made us feel proud. And thanks to the wonderful world of social media, this joy and hope spread across our green and pleasant land!

London changed too. I’ve never seen complete strangers on the tube smiling at each other, talking, sharing their experiences and having fun. These same people, two weeks earlier would have sat there, stony faced, noses in books or headphones on actively avoiding any contact (heaven forbid) with their fellow passengers.

Let’s just hope this positivity is here to stay!
NinaAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14269657601163486180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3169917392605496319.post-41088251411306534712012-08-14T02:50:34.786+01:002012-08-14T02:50:34.786+01:00Excellent games hosted by your country.
